Altaghat is located in the Thalanar Valley, Anamalais Tiger Reserve in Valparai. The owners are completely committed to conservation goals and not coffee output.
The Arabica Coffee here is wild and shade grown. The Coffee cherries have complex flavours, good body and medium acidity. Native tribal families manage the coffee in the estate, who have the natural spirit of conservation.
The ripe cherries are harvested and sun dried.
